Lilly Time

Easter Lilly

Everything has a season.  Now is the time for lillies to bloom.
Funny how the Easter Lilly blooms the first year you buy it at Eastertime.  Then you plant it outside, and the next year it blooms in mid-June.

We have a lot of orange Tiger Lillies growing wild around the house, too.
I love lillies whenever they're blooming.

Tiger Lilies remind me of my childhood. They grew all along our back fence.

Wow . . . after seeing your lilies and some that my daughter planted just last year and now they are thriving in her back yard . . . I'm gonna plant me some lilies to enjoy for years to come. They are beautiful and some are so fragrant!

I love tiger lillies too. Ours in the back yard didn't bloom because of not enough light! They are in the shade of the pine tree.

CeeCee - They remind me of being in my 20's. We used to have a big patch of tiger lillies in the yard of Randy's and my first house.

CAGrammy - I like them because they come back year after year. No worries!

Barb - That's odd that they don't bloom if they don't get enough light!!! How sad!
