Lynn, would you mind sharing how you got the coloring on the frosting? They're beautiful!

CeeCee - Thank you! It's just spray coloring for frosting. You can get it at the grocery store or at Michaels or another craft store. Spray color is the easiest way to add color to icing. Just spray it after putting the icing on the cupcakes. Let it dry for a couple minutes. Then add sprinkles of colored sugar. It will color everything around the cupcake when you spray it, so I spray them over the sink with cooking gloves on my hand that holds the cupcake.

I'm making more cupcakes right now...

Thanks Lynn! We're having a carnival at church and I'm running the "Cupcake Walk" booth. I was wanting the kids to be able to pick a kind of cake and frosting flavor, but then dreading different flavors of frosting in bags--running out of one flavor or another. This way they can pick a color of frosting paint and sprinkles!

CeeCee - Thats a great idea! Was the cupcake walk on Easter, or is it upcoming? I bet the kids will love to choose their spray color and sprinkle color! Let me know how it went!! :)
