New Blogger Interface???

OMG, have any of you gone to the new blogger interface?  What do you think of it?  I tried it for a minute and hated every second!  I can't find anything!!!  I guess the page it displayed was the dashboard.

Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I just returned to blogging from a short hiatus, and I'm not ready for a major change right now.  I need to know how to navigate around my blog, I don't have time to figure this out.  Please tell me what you think, is it that bad?  Have you made the change?  Are we all going to be forced to jump to the dark side eventually? Should I just suck it up and take the plunge and deal?  Or can I stay old fashioned in my old blogger interface, where comfort abides and all is known and friendly?  Help me before I jump!

If it helps any, I am as lost as you. I continue with the old, I detest the new. My greatest fear is losing my blog completely so I must learn how to save it somewhere else.

Four years of work would be hard to lose.

Good luck.

Everyone will eventually get it, but I'm not sure when.
It does indeed take you to your dashboard.
They have made changes since they rolled it out that took getting used to.
Those icons there, in the space next to the name of your blog, are where you do all your posting and editing from. If you don't see it when you're on that page - sometimes you don't - then double click on the space next to where it says 'all blogs' to bring it up.
I despise their new editor, though some people love it.
I bookmarked the old post editor and will use it as long as it's available.
I don't like change either. Stay on the old one as long as you can.
But probably you will have to change eventually; or go to Wordpress or some such else...
*hugs* ♥ :o)

I didn't like it at first but now it is okay. Just like when I made up my mind to use the new picture thing, once I got used to it I like all of the extra features. It is still hard though. I do get mad at it and have to fool around with it some days to make it do what I want.
At least they don't change it all at once and let you go back and forth for now. :)

I thought it was awful, and panicked a bit until I figured out how to switch back (had clicked it on accident). Personally, I'm staying put with the comfy version for as long as possible.

Actually, I love it! And I'm the one who has been resisting timeline on FB. :) I find it easy to use. Wish I were closer so I could give you a tutorial like I did for Gordon!

Gail - That's true, it would be awful to lose everything! Let us know how you save it!

LindaG - Thanks so much for the help! I need it! I'm going to try the new and attempt to get used to it.

Farm Girl - I know, I'm glad we can go back and forth still! It gives me a chance to play with the new interface and feel safe that I can always go back! :)

Rae - I know how you feel, that's for sure! It's hard for me to find time to figure out the new interface.

Cahi Chai - That's me right now, too, but I want to figure out the new one. Maybe this weekend?

Nat - You don't like the FB timeline? I kinda like that. Don't we have to do that, we're gonna be forced to move to the new timeline sometime real soon, right? I don't really go on FB all that much lately.

I wish you could give me the tutorial!!! I was gonna say we could skype, but that doesn't let us look at the computers, only at each other! :(
