Help! Little caterpillars are invading!

Please help me identify these pests!!
These awful little caterpillars have started showing up near our outside dry cat food bowls.  They're black with brown heads & legs, with mean-looking pinchers.  They're small, less than an inch.  I've tried to research them, but have been unable to find them online.  They kinda look like a worm, not real hairy like a caterpillar.  I'm sure they're some kind of larvae...

Wow, I have no idea. When it comes to the bug world I am at a loss. My two unknown bugs have been identified by you and a neighbor. You might try asking one of your neighbors. Maybe they might know. Have you got a name picked out for them yet :).

Robin ~ That's a good idea, we'll have to ask the neighbor - I bet he'll know! No, I didn't name them, yet! lol! Every now & then we get a George in the house again...
