Congratulations, Robin!

This week we celebrated a friend's upcoming baby's birth.  We made shaped chocolates from bags of chocolate wafers first.  It looked simple enough, but it certainly took alot of time!  I couldn't find pink or light blue chocolate wafers, but they still tasted ok!

These are homemade chocolate lollipops!

Then we made baby cupcakes.  The blankets were made from fruit rollups, the baby bodies were marshmallows, heads were icing, topped off with a gummi bear teddie bear.  The hair was icing or candy.

Wow Lynn!! You really deserve an award for those cupcakes and choc. lolly pops!!! How many cupcakes were there? And I know you said that Randy made chillie too!! I know Robin must really have been surprised and appreciated all your hard work!! You are really quite an artist with all that! I would have you do some for my next shower--- but I don't think that's happening!! LOL! Maybe one of the kids in a few years!!

Hi Lynn. I wandered into your blog from 'a glowing ember' and have really enjoyed reading it.

We have the exact same wooden keyholes and covers as you do!! (- and an upside down lock!)but ours is a 1920's house in the middle of England. How weird is that?!

Thanks for a great blog :)

I brought one home to my daughter, and she ate every single bite. then woke up at 6 this morning, and said we have to call "OUR" friend Lynn because someone ate all the cupcakes!!! lol.. love ya lynn! thanks again

Barb ~ there were 37 cupcakes total. They were fun to make, they just take time. ...You never know when the next shower will be!!!

Liz ~ Thanks for visiting! I checked out your blog, and will be going back to read more! I'm sure you will be seeing me commenting there... That's pretty interesting that you have an upside down lock & the same keyhole covers!! Back when our house was built all the designs came from England, I bet!

Robin ~ Congrats again! I wish you a safe, pain-free & super fast delivery!! I don't know what I'll do without you at work for 3 months...

Linda ~ Thank you for the compliment!! It's not talent, just time & lots of fruit roll-ups! And some luck & powdered sugar, too!

-Lynn
