Four Leaf Clover

I'm going to get some luck this week!  I recently found a Four Leaf Clover!

The following was taken from Wikipedia:

The four-leaf clover is an uncommon variation of the common, three-leaved clover. According to tradition, such leaves bring good luck to their finders, especially if found accidentally. According to legend, each leaflet represents something: the first is for hope, the second is for faith, the third is for love, and the fourth is for luck.

Clovers can have more than four leaflets: the most ever recorded is twenty-one, a record set in June 2008.  It has been estimated that there are approximately 10,000 three-leaf clovers for every four-leaf clover

Gail - Thank ye!!

CeeCee - I'm going to use the luck for enegy to get some extra work done around the house! There's always so much to do, and just not enough time in the days!

Janis - I'll have to send you some! I've found dozens thru the years, and have saved many of them! :)

Linda - Do they have clovers in your altitude? Isn't it too dry out there in CO? My hubby's not here right now, or I'd ask him, as he's from CO.

Toni - Yes, I usually save my four leaf clovers. I have a collection!

Cindy - I hope I have some extra-special luck from this clover - I'll let you know! I'm thinking that I'm feeling lucky this upcoming weekend!

Genny - Wow, I cannot believe you never found a four leaf clover! You're in the same geographical area as me, and they are here! Maybe I'm just lucky and I didn't realize it??? I thought everyone found them from time to time!!! Now you've gotten me thinking...

Hi Lynn, I came over to thank you for your kind comments on my blog. I saw your sad story of the woodchuck you had. I was wondering if you ever see Eagles or large hawks.. my friend actually saw an Eagle pick up a groundhog in a field last week. Mine are pampered..they live under my playhouse and outbuilding so they don't have to dig holes or get dirty. haha Lucky you to find a 4 leaf clover. Must be worth some kinda luck!

Jalynn ~ Thanks for the eagle story. There are eagles here in MD, but I have never seen any in my neighborhood or near our property. I know they are down near the Chesapeake Bay, which isn't too far away. There are hawks here, I just saw a red-tailed hawk fly over the other day. But I didn't think a hawk could kill a groundhog. But something did! Haha, your groundhogs don't have to did holes or even get dirty - now that's funny!!! No wonder they look so nice & clean in your pictures! :)

The lines "the first is for hope, the second is for faith, the third is for love, and the fourth is for luck" is very nice. But at the same time the five leaf clove is also lucky and rare.
