Good Morning!

Come on, it's time to get up and go outside!
I'm waiting!
I'm hungry!

Jerry waits patiently for his breakfast every morning...

He still has a look of desperation in his eyes.  He always wraps his tail around his feet to keep them warm.
He's missed quite a few meals as a feral cat, but now that he comes to our front door, he gets his breakfast, and he knows it.

Jerry's looking for me at the front window, where I normally stand and watch him.  But I moved to the front door when I took this picture.

Good morning, Jerry!

Hi Lynn- Jerry must be happy you feed him now! He's an outside cat? Everything must be so green now at your farm! I bet that makes for alot of grass to mow!!

He looks so proper, sitting there like a little lion.
Lucky, lucky boy to be able to count on a meal every day. He's beautiful!

He's a handsome boy, isn't he? Love the shot of him with his tail wrapped around his feet. Like a nice pair of fluffy, warm slippers :-)

Hello Jerry! You are one smart boy aren't you? You know where you have it good. :)

Jerry is beautiful! I'm sure he's very grateful to have food waiting for him, especially when the weather is bad. Poor little guy must have been starving when he waited to come out during the snow. It's good that you have an outside caretaker and he has found a great home that suits him.

He's lovely. Bless you for looking after him!

He may give you a pathetic look but at least he's patient! Mine isn't.

It's so good of you to offer Jerry a daily meal. He's quite brave to come so close. We have 4 feral cats that live at the abandoned place next door. I'm always fearful that the coyotes or stray dogs will get them, which, of course, saddens me, and I wish they'd live in one of our barns where they'd be protected by the LGDs, they won't hear of it. So, I keep a food dish full for them in a safe place and we see them visiting for a meal in the evening. I hope Jerry visits you for a long while. Ken and Mary of fancy Fibers Farm

Jerry is very pretty. I do like that tail curled around his feet. My neighbor has a feral cat that comes up every day to get fed.

Barb - Yes, mowing has become a never-ending chore!!!

CeeCee - Jerry is so pretty, I wish he would let us pet him, and at least get him his shots!

Danni - he always keeps his feet warmed by his tail - he learned to do that in the cold of winter, and now I think he does it out of habit.

Cindy - yeah, Jerry know where life is good, but he likes to roam & wander, he's a unfixed male. We have not been able to pet him, he's just too wild.

We had a feral female cat who knew where the food was, and eventually she would never leave our front door area. She was so cold during winter, but wouldn't let us touch her. One day she gave in, and gave up a quick pet for a meal. In the year since then she's moved inside & sleeps on our bed, cuddles with us, has never-ending food, and has a serious addiction to lunchmeat (that goes in our lunch sandwiches). Life has gotten so much better for Shadow. If only Jerry would not be so wild...

Genny - Jerry is a good outside caretaker! And we allow him to come and go on his terms, so he's happy. he's a free-spirit.

Knatolee - I try to take care of every animal that visits. they all are special.

Leigh - You have a feral cat, too?

Ken & Mary - What a nice story! Animals sometimes have their own minds!

Robin - Didn't your neighbor used to have a bunch of wild black cats?
